“Gifts of Gratitude” presented by Nelda Moore, Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service Family and Consumer Sciences Agent at 1:30 p.m. at the Trimble County Extension Office. All are welcome and invited to attend.

Thursday, Oct. 22

Senior Bingo at 1p.m. at the Trimble County Public Library.

Pumpkin Painting Crafts at 3:30 p.m. at the Trimble County Public Library. Have cookies, popcorn, and Halloween Punch!

Friday, Oct. 23 Bedford Elementary Trunk or Treat is 6-8 p.m. at the school parking lot.

Photography Art Reception will be at 7 p.m. Come see photos by local area digital photography.

Saturday, Oct. 24AARP Driver Safety Class is today at Tri-County Community Action Agency, 4240 U.S. 421 North, Bedford, for ages 50 and older. For those 50-59, AARP members pay $12; nonmembers, $14. Sunday, Oct. 25

Bedford Pentecostal Church, Hwy 42 W., will observe their 85th anniversary beginning at 1 p.m. with Bro. Russell McCane as guest speaker. A pitch-in lunch will be at 3 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

 Saturday, Oct. 31

Palmyra Community Trick or Treat is 5-9 p.m. at The Nixon Farm on Palmyra Road in the Milton area.

Countywide Trick or Treatnight from 6-8 p.m. for ages 12 and younger. The Trimble County Sheriff’s Office asks that you turn on your porch light for the trick-or-treaters.

Thursday, Nov. 5

Trimble County Hymn Sing is 7 p.m. at Bedford Pentecostal Church on U.S. Hwy 42 W. Everyone invited.

Thursday, Nov. 12

Trimble County Local Emergency Planning Committee will meet at the Trimble County Extension office building on High County Lane at 1:30 p.m. Topic of discussion will be past storms and flash flooding, and new EOC for Trimble County. All members should attend for input on these topics and any up-dates on hazardous materials for Tier 2 reporting. Also voting will be done for approval to purchase a new copying machine for the office.

Saturday, Nov. 14

Milton Fire & Rescue’s annual deer hunters/general public Chili/Bean soup dinner will be Saturday, Nov. 14 from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. at Station #1. Meals $5 includes chili or bean soup, sandwich, dessert and drink. All proceeds to benefit MF&R explorer’s program.
