Thursday, Nov. 12

Trimble County Local Emergency Planning Committee will meet at the Trimble County Extension office on High Country Lane at 1:30 p.m. Topic will be past storms and flash flooding, and a new EOC location for Trimble County. All members should attend the discussion and for any updates on hazardous materials for Tier 2 reporting.

Milton City Commission meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall on U.S. 421 North.

Friday, Nov. 13

Milton Baptist Church invites the community to a special service and discover why Christians don’t rely on luck. Enjoy praise, preaching and pizza; music by local artists.

Saturday, Nov. 14

Milton Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department invites the public to its annual deer hunters/Chili/Bean soup dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Station No. 1. Meals are $5 and include chili or bean soup, sandwich, dessert and drink. Proceeds benefit the Explorer program.

Monday, Nov. 16

Trimble County Fiscal Court meets at 9 a.m. in the meeting room of the judge-executive’s office in the Trimble County Courthouse Annex.

Bedford City Commission meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall, located in Morgan Community Center, 147 Victory Ave., Bedford.

Wednesday, Nov. 18

Trimble CARES meets at noon in the Family Resources and Youth Services office at Trimble County High School. Lunch provided; please RSVP.

Trimble County Board of Education meets at 7 p.m. in the district administration office, 68 Wentworth Ave., Bedford.

Saturday, Nov. 21

Trimble County Historical Society will elect officers for 2010 at 1 p.m. in the Trimble County Public Library meeting room.

TCHS Class of 1989 reunion is 6 p.m. at the Trimble County Park 4-H building. RSVP on Facebook.
