Winburn earns degree from Western Governors University

Pamela Winburn of Carrollton received a master’s degree in business administration from Western Governors University.

On July 14 the online, nonprofit university held its semi-annual commencement ceremony in Salt Lake City, Utah, and celebrated the graduation of more than 3,200 graduates – WGU’s largest class ever. This year, Western Governors University celebrates its 15th anniversary. Incorporated in 1997, the university has grown to a national institution with more than 33,000 students and 16,000 graduates in just 15 years.
