Winn PTA says fall festival was a success

Kathryn Winn Primary PTA would like to thank all of those individuals and business who made this year’s fall festival a huge success. Thanks to the generosity of all involved, the Winn PTA was able to raise about $5,000 for our school. We want to specifically thank the following businesses and individuals who donated items for the silent auction or contributed to the festival: Sen. We also want to thank the Carroll County Fair Board, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America and Mr. David Pepper, Jailer Mike Humphrey, Sheriff Jamie Kinman, Jim Monk, Clay Cable, Cheryl Riney and Pat Montgomery for their services and contributions.

A huge thank you to all of the parents, teachers and friends who volunteered to make this event possible. Most of all, we want to thank all of the teachers and children and their families and friends for coming out to make the fall festival a night to remember.

If you were not able to make it out to the fall festival, the Winn PTA will be hosting a Christmas bazaar and breakfast with Santa at the school  from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 7. Vendors will be on hand from Pampered Chef, Thirty-One, It Works, along with many hand-crafted items, to satisfy all of your Christmas shopping needs. Portions of the proceeds from all sales will be donated to Winn PTA. Tickets can be purchased at the door for breakfast with Santa or you may buy discounted tickets in advance from any PTA board member or at the law office of Monk & Marsh.  All kids and kids at heart are encouraged to attend.
