Country Music radio station Froggy 95.9 followed through on their promise to entertain the area with country music chart-topper Chris Cagle and share the proceeds with Kentuckiana area non-profits. More than 1,300 people attended the Chris Cagle show at Switzerland County High School on April 25 in Vevay, Ind.
“We are thrilled with the way our listeners came together to enjoy a great night of music while helping our local charities,” WKID-FM general manager Adam Griffin said.
The radio station presented checks to Champions for a Drug Free Carroll County, Community Foundation of Switzerland County and Champions for a Drug Free Gallatin County.
“Just as we promised from the beginning, we divided the profit amongst Switzerland, Carroll and Gallatin counties. To be able to give the monies for such great non-profit charities in these three counties, really puts the proverbial icing on the cake for us,” Griffin said.
