    Carrollton/Carroll County Tourism hosts the Two Rivers Bass Tournament at Point Park. Big Bass Award of $250 each day by Earl Floyd Ford. Door prizes for teams. First place wins $6,000.     Carrollton Main Street Program hosts First Friday on the courthouse square from 4-8 p.m. Prepare a hot dog and bring it down between 5-6 p.m. to enter Carrollton’s Hottest Dog competition. Winner receives a new grill donated by McNeal’s. Just Us Band will perform, 6-8 p.m. Food, inflatables and River View Farmers Market included.

    Fill a bag and help feed local families. Place food items by your mailbox, your postal carrier will deliver the food to the Food Pantry of Carroll County. Donate items like canned meats, fish, soup, juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal, peanut butter and rice. Please do not include items that have expired or are in glass containers.

    The Carroll County High School alumni will take on Owen County High School alumni in a tackle football game at 7 p.m. at CCHS.
