    Carroll County High School homecoming parade leaves Carroll County Middle School at 6 p.m. and will travel to the high school. A tug of war competition will follow.

    Seventh annual Sing Off at the Carroll County Fall Festival, 6 p.m. Cost to participate is $15. There are two age categories and singers will perform one song.

    First Friday on the Square from 4-8 p.m. in downtown Carrollton. The event will feature the RiverView Farmers Market, Watermelon Mania and music by Smokin’ Guns. There will be a watermelon seed-spitting contest, watermelon roll and samples, too.
