    News-Democrat Publisher Jeff Moore and Editor Kristin Beck will be at Kroger from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. offering subscription specials! Also, stop by and sign up for the $50 Kroger card drawing and give Moore and Beck feedback on what you would like to see in the newspaper.

    The North Key (Hope) Workshop, 416 Fourth St. in Carrollton is having a yard sale Monday through Friday, (weather permitting) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., running through the month of June. All proceeds will go to the clients’ summer outings fund. Donations (items to sell or money) are welcome.

    Fill a bag and help feed local families. Place food items by your mailbox, your postal carrier will deliver the food to the Food Pantry of Carroll County. Donate items like canned meats, fish, soup, juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal, peanut butter and rice. Please do not include items that have expired or are in glass containers.

    The Carroll County High School alumni will take on Owen County High School alumni in a tackle football game at 7 p.m. at CCHS.

    The Pioneer Power Club‘s Annual Antique Tractor Show at Point Park in Carrollton. Vintage/antique tractors and othr implements wil be on display. There will be exhibits, a parade, games, music and food. Exhibits and vendors will be the during the day on Friday and the formal opening ceremony will be 10 a.m. Saturday.
