Kentucky residents with a Kentucky farm license plate have the option of donating $10 per plate to the Kentucky Ag Tag program.
The Ag Tag program created by former Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture Jamie Comer is entering its sixth year. The $10 donation is split three ways with the Kentucky 4-H Foundation, Kentucky FFA Foundation and the Kentucky Proud program each receiving a third of the proceeds.
In the five years the program has existed, farm license plate donations have generated nearly $700,000 each for Kentucky FFA, Kentucky 4-H and Kentucky Proud.

Everything, nature wise, seems a couple of weeks ahead of schedule. Buds show on lilac bushes, green grass already grows in bunches and the sound of lawn mowers permeates an afternoon backyard barbecue.
The rare winter temperatures may alter white bass spawning runs as well.
