The bride-to-be is a graduate of Jefferson Community and Technical College and is employed at Beef ‘O’ Brady’s in LaGrange, Ky.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Jefferson Community and Technical College and is employed at North American Stainless in Ghent, Ky.

David and Mary Jo Willhoite Corley recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. They were married in Madison, Ind. on June 25, 1954. Mr. Corley retired from the United States Air Force and General Butler State Resort Park and currently works for Earl Floyd Ford. Mrs. Corley retired from Carroll County Schools. They have two children, Grace (Randy) Tharp and William (Mary) Corley, four grandchildren: Eric, Melissa, Mark and Tim and two great grandchildren: Haley and Ryan. They reside on Carlisle Road in Carrollton.
Hello once again, my friends. As I sit here typing, cooking seems to be the last thing on my mind. Having surgery on one’s elbow tends to make picking up pots and pans seem like a thing of the past. Oh well, we all have to eat, so sometimes, we have to put our noses to the grindstone and make things happen.
Carrollton resident Cookie Louden is currently displaying 26 paintings at Trimble County Public Library. The show is coordinated by Vickie Eldridge of Apple Tree Studio. The display continues through the month of July.
Visitors can view the art Mondays, Wednedays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
