While talking to my daughter-in-law the other day, my 17-month-old grandson interrupted us because he needed his Mommy to hold him.
We kept talking right through his jibber jabber, then she tried to get him to say a word that he had been using that week. All of a sudden he yelled out “Hey, Nonna!” (they call me Nonna). I thought it was my 2½-year-old granddaughter, Sophie; but no, it was Maddox. Both of us were amazed that he said it, and of course, it made my day. At least he knows who I am.

I ahave been very impressed by the Apple program beginning in the Carroll County School System.
Each high school junior and senior will have the opportunity to receive a MacBook for use at school and, more importantly, at home. I am a huge fan of Apple products. You can come into my office anytime and see an iPod, iPhone or iPad connected or being used in some way or another. The products are intuitive, fun to use and very creative. But, they are also different.
A Mac and a PC do not work the same, which can be intimidating at first.
