It is officially summertime, which means it seems that we are all running in different directions and time seems to be flying at a rate that is unreal in comparison to winter.
The sun comes out earlier and stays out later, however that rarely equates to the ability to get more done. In summertime, we often get so busy that we can forget there are activities going on in our community that we can get involved in.
The Three Rivers Shooting Sports Club regrets that due to unforeseen problems, the club will be unable to host the “Family Day on the Range” planned for June 18. The club plans on re-scheduling the family day event later in the year. Organizers extend their apologies to those in the community who had planned on attending this event.
We recently returned from visiting our son in Moore, Okla. Scott lives just three miles from Toby Keith, and yes we saw his home.
Keith has the largest American Flag flying in his yard that I have ever seen. That man is very well thought of in Oklahoma.
It is always such a pleasure for us to visit Scott because he goes out of his way to prepare special meals for us. He does do a good job of impressing his mother with his culinary talents. Wonder where he learned how to cook so well?
