The May meeting of Carroll County RetiredTeachers Association was held at Hometown Pizza with 12 members present. Members enjoyed a meal thanks to Mark and Carol Bates. They had made a generous donation to CCRTA during retired teachers week this past October. The purpose of the donation was to show their appreciation for the education their family had received from the Carroll County school system. The members of CCRTA truly appreciate this thoughtful gesture.
Hello once again, my friends. It’s amazing how fast time passes. Literally. I was just writing my last article and now, I’m back to it again. My son is graduating high school, the garden is coming up and hot weather is right around the corner. Seems like yesterday I was talking about comfort foods and getting through the holidays. But, as always, we go forward, inspired and looking for new ways to broaden our cooking horizons.
