Marisa Ruckel and Benjamin Watts of Carrollton would like to announce the birth of their son, Sawyer Taylor Watts born Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville, Ky. He weighed 9 pounds 7 ounces and was 21.5 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Jay and Michelle Montgomery of Carrollton and Monty and Debra Ruckel of Somerset, Ky. and his great Aunt Kathy Ruckel of Somerset.
Paternal grandparents are Chuck and Kathy Watts of Carrollton.
Feeding an average of 120 people each month has taken a toll on the Community Food Pantry housed at St. John’s Catholic Church.
“We’ve had to take cash donations and buy food to have enough for area families, so Scouting for Food could not have come at a better time,” Ruth H. Baxter, treasurer for the food pantry said. “We are out of everything that fills a basic food basket – from spaghetti sauce to macaroni and cheese.”
