The giving of gifts is a holiday tradition, but this year Savannah Wright, the eight-year-old daughter of Debbie Dixon and Wesley Wright, created her own tradition.

It started when Savannah decided to re-gift a Winnie the Pooh children’s table that was new in the box.

  • Community Christmas Project

Leigh Ann Roberts said it was another successful year for the Community Christmas Project. So many children and families got so many neat gifts thanks to the work of many volunteers. It truly is a blessing, she said. Thanks to the anonymous donors that made a child’s life better as every angel on the Wal-Mart Angel Tree was sponsored.

Each family that participated in any of the Community Christmas programs had to complete 12 hours of educational programs through the Carroll County adult education program.
