  • Carroll County Public Library | June 2, 2016

    On Tuesdays, the library will offer a four-part series based on the book “Cooked” with discussion and activities to learn how cooking transforms food and shapes our world. Copies of the  book  will be available to read along, starting Tuesday, June 14 through July 5. For more information call (502) 732-7020.

    Kari D. Hayden of Turners Station and William T. “Willie” Kendal of Carrollton announce their upcoming wedding Saturday, July 16, 2016.

    The bride to be is the daughter of Nellie Hayden of Port Royal and the late Charlie Hayden. She is a 1996 graduate of Henry County High School and a 2001 graduate of The Hair Design School. She is self-employed.

    The future groom is the son of the late Roy and Juanita Deweese Kendall. He is a 1985 graduate of Oldham High School.

  • North Key Yard Sale | May 26, 2016

    The North Key (Hope) Workshop, 416 Fourth St. in Carrollton is having a yard sale Monday through Friday, (weather permitting) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., beginning now,  and running through the month of June. All proceeds will go to the clients’ summer outings fund. Donations (items to sell or money) are welcome.

  • Rabies Vaccination Clinic June 11

    The Three Rivers District Health Department in coordination with Carroll County Animal Clinic and Minch Animal Clinic will conduct a Rabies Vaccination Clinic, from 8-10 a.m., Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Carroll County Health Center, 401 Eleventh Street in Carrollton. Bring your dogs and cats to receive their rabies vaccine for only $5. Other vaccines and supplies may be available upon request for additional fees.
