The annual Carroll County River Sweep brought out more than 110 people to clean the banks of the Ohio and Kentucky rivers Saturday. The event is organized by Carrollton Main Street Program and sponsored by North American Stainless. Dow Corning provides funding for a cookout for all participants to enjoy after the work is done.
Hello once again my friends. Can it be that we have already reached summer? Hot weather, bugs and high humidity.
I know people say time goes by faster the older we get but this is ridiculous. Oh well, it’s here and it’s up to us to make the most of it.
When we think of summer food invariably we think of grilling. I do think this has changed somewhat as people tend to grill more during the winter now than they did years ago but still, the prevailing thought is grilling.
