    Winter Reading Challenge for kids, take a challenge to complete six of the nine reading challenges for your age and win a free book of your choice, through the month of January for ages 0-4 and 5 and up. For all ages: there is a new list for 2017, if this is your first year, you can jump in by reading a new book each month from one of the categories and be entered to win fun prizes monthly and at the year-end.

  • CCRTA discusses dues, legislative issues

    Carroll County Retired Teachers Association met on Jan. 20, at Two Rivers Restaurant with nine members present. The reading of the minutes from the November meeting was tabled. The treasurer reported dues had been paid to the district treasurer. A gift card was purchased for Cydney Conley of Family Ties to use for the students at Kathryn Winn Primary.
