  • Don’t wait for a ‘perfect’ day; keep one eye on the future, one in present

It is always my first instinct to hibernate during January and February. Sweater weather and the potential of a white Christmas are exciting in December. But the novelty can wear off quickly.

As the deep freeze of winter sets in, I long more and more for the sunshine. Early sunsets and grey days can get the best of me sometimes. I love a good sweater, so I don’t think it is the cold weather that bothers me as much as the missing sun. I find myself grabbing my favorite sunglasses, hoping that I am going to need them.
