Richard and Lucy Westrick were married 30 years ago on April 30, 1985, while on their trip to Hawaii. They renewed their vows again on Oct. 30, 2015. It was the same day of the month, but they could not be there in April, so they went in October.
One of the most amazing things when they had their vows renewed was they found their same favorite judge that married them 30 years before, Judge Michael Town, Lucy said. It was wonderful, she said.
In November and December you can help the Library give to one of three local charities while paying off your fines. From Nov. 16-30 they will accept diapers and baby wipes for the Haven of Hope. Dec. 1-19 they will accept toothpaste and toothbrushes, women’s deodorant and laundry detergent for the NKY Community Action Center of Carroll County. Hello once again, my friends. As I type this, it’s still in the 60s outside. Who would have thought that in November that would still be the case? As with most things it seems the out of the ordinary is becoming the ordinary. That being said, I’m sure lots of people would certainly take these temperatures all winter long.
