    The Kentucky Career Center will host the “Fall into a New Career” Job Fair from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the National Guard Armory, 1828 Ky. Hwy. 227, in Carrollton.

    The Kentucky Career Center in Carrollton, located at 1209 Highland Ave., Suite E, is part of a network of career centers with locations in Covington, Dry Ridge, Falmouth and Florence, to help connect job seekers and employers.   • Lions Club hosts magic show for eyeglass fundraiser

    The Carrollton Lions Club is once again asking the community for help in its local Eyeglass Fundraiser charity. All money raised stays in the Carrollton community and benefits the Eyeglass Program. The Eyeglass Program provides eye care, eyeglasses and eye treatments to those in need in our community.

  • Seniors win powderpuff crown

    The Carroll County High School senior class celebrated its 28-22 victory over the the sophomore class in the 2016 Powder Puff championship. The sophomores defeated the juniors 8-0 and the seniors defeated the freshman 26-8 to reach the championship game. The freshmen are in maroon, the sophomores are in pink, the juniors are in white and the seniors are in black jerseys.
