    General Butler State Resort Park Dinner Theater will present The Best of me Elvis Presley Tribute Act, Saturday, Nov. 10. performed by award-winning Todd Bodenheim from La Grange, Ky. Bodenheim’s most recent award was being crowned Midwest Elvis Tribute 2011.

    Trimble County’s class of 1972 will hold it’s 40-year reunion at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Pines Restaurant in Madison, Ind.

  • Carroll County’s Relay for Life raises $86,000

    Nine teams made up of cancer survivors, families, caregivers, local faith-based groups, businesses and clubs walked 12 hours in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Carroll County on June 15 and raised more than $86,000.

  • Six new COWS to protect county

    Carroll County Emergency Management will add six Community Outdoor Warning Systems (COWS) to alert residents and visitors of tornado sightings or warnings.

    COWS can save lives during severe weather when a tornado is sighted or a tornado warning is issued. The 19 COWS used by Carroll County Emergency Management could save your life and the lives of your family and friends. They will be activated as soon as a tornado is sighted in Carroll County or a tornado warning is issued by the National Weather Service for Carroll County.
