There’s something so satisfying about making soup.
It’s very easy to do; just add meat, vegetables, and spices to a pot with water or stock and cook. It’s the end result that makes all the time waiting worth it. This particular soup is very interesting to me because of all the garnishes that really help to enhance the soup to another level. Feel free to also add jalapeno slices, diced tomatoes, chopped scallions or chopped onions as well to liven the soup up.
November is the month for the second annual Hispanic Arts and Crafts Show.
Last year, the Carroll County Public Library hosted its first ever Hispanic Arts & Crafts Show and Silent Auction with proceeds going to the English-as-a-Second Language classes that are sponsored by the JCTC Adult Education Program and the Library. More than seven countries were represented in one county with over 80 people participating! As you can see, it was a very successful program.
