Three Rivers District Health Department holds a low-cost rabies vaccination clinic from 8-10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 11 at the Carroll County Health Center, 401 11th St., Carrollton. It will be performed by staff from the Carroll County Animal Clinic. Dogs and cats can receive a rabies vaccine for only $5.
Make sure your pet is in a carrier or on a leash.
Other vaccines and supplies may be available upon request for additional fees.

Aury and Michael McGuire of Carrollton, Ky. announce the birth of their son, Dallas Michael Anthony McGuire, born March 15, 2011, at Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange, Ky. He weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.
His big sisters, Erica, 4 years old and Cloie, 2 years old helped welcome him home.
Maternal grandparents is Angie Puckett of Carrollton and the late Michael.
Paternal grandparents are Michelle McGuire Puckett of Carrollton.
It has been very busy with working at the polls, visiting friends at the chamber golf scramble, attending a funeral, meetings and doctor appointments. There was very little time to spend grocery shopping for much needed food items.
Of course, many of you are much busier than I am these days, and I can certainly appreciate all your hard work and efforts to put a nice meal on the table. Our busy lives do not make it easy for us to do so.
The Social Security Administration will no longer visit the Carroll County Circuit Court office on the second Tuesday of each month.
Local residents needing assistance may visit the SSA office at 140 Flynn Ave., Frankfort, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
