When we had our Ghent Woman’s Club meeting and Christmas get-together in early December, we were asked to tell what some of our Christmas memories were and what we would be doing for Christmas. Since our theme was “Christmas Memories,” it was a wonderful evening of reminiscing for all of us. We discussed our family’s holiday meal traditions, as well. We had such a good time.

Many parents are aware Family Ties and the Youth Services Center are two programs located in the Carroll County school district that are vital for students success. These programs need parents to take a brief survey, which is located on the districts webpage under special programs. Family Ties serves Head Start, Kathryn Winn and Cartmell. Youth Servics serves middle, high and alternative schools. Please take five minutes this week to complete the survey. For information, contact Tracey Reynolds at (502)732-9272 or Robin Huesman at (502) 732-7008.
