  • Caby Froman club celebrates 100 years

The Caby M. Froman Club began its new year of study at the beautiful Owl Creek Country Club in Anchorage, Ky., on June 9. The members and their guest were all adorned in their hats in honor and respect of club traditions.

Sandra Scott Thomas, president, welcomed everyone to the meeting and all stood and sang “My Old Kentucky Home.” The blessing was given by Dr. Elizabeth Tharp Jones. The menu for the luncheon was salmon served on a bed of rice pilaf, roasted asparagus, salad, rolls and a decadent dessert of ice cream served with a brownie and sauce.
