  • Of all the amazing miracles performed during Jesus’ ministry, there is only one that is actually mentioned in all four Gospels; The feeding of the 5,000.  Each gospel writer chose their favorite stories of Jesus from their own perspectives, yet all four chose this one.  To me, that means we as Christians should take a good hard look at it. 

  • Revelant Church hosts pastoral anniversary

    Relevant Church, 2505 Highland Ave. in Carrollton will hold a Pastoral Anniversary celebration, March 4-6, 2016, 7 p.m. Friday night, March 4 with speaker Scott Marshall, Ky. District Superintendent; 7 p.m. Saturday night and Sunday 2 p.m. with David K.   • Hello once again, my friends. As I sit here typing this month’s article I can look out the window and see the melting snow. Only a few days ago it was coming down, covering everything in the soft winter blanket. And yet, as I look out at the shining sun, melting the piles of pushed up snow I can only think about the warmer weather just around the corner.

  • Call for Student Art, Submit your art for display in the library. Work from Middle and Grade School artists may submit your art by Feb. 27, for display in March.   • The Life in Carrollton Ministries, in Carrollton is holding a RNNL8 BBQ fundraiser. They will be  offering  box lunches catered by Ma Tiller’s Catering, Saturday, March 5.

  • Carrollton Masonic Lodge will offer its “all you can eat” breakfast from 8-10 a.m., both Saturday March 5, and Saturday April 2, at the lodge on Marwill Drive in Carrollton.
