  • Thanksgiving is a time when we Americans gather together with family and friends enjoying a feast as we reflect on the things in life in which we are grateful.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 states, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”  It doesn’t say give thanks once a year, or rejoice only for the things you are grateful for.  It simply states, “In every thing... give thanks.”

  • The Carroll County 4-H Council received $426.83 from the 2014 Ag Tag Program, part of $84,000 distributed to County 4-H Councils by the Kentucky 4-H Foundation.

For the third year, thanks to Commissioner of Agriculture James Comer, proceeds from the voluntary donations to the Agricultural Program Trust Fund are divided equally among 4-H, FFA, and Kentucky Proud.
