The North Central Kentucky Forage and Hay Day will be held on Thursday, April 25 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The field day will be held at the Seth Bryant Farm, located on Hwys. 421/55, about three miles north of New Castle in Henry County.  Signs will be posted to direct you to the farm on that day.

There will be hay equipment demonstrations in the field, fence building demonstrations, and a trade show.

Dinner will be served at 6 p.m.

More than 100 sewing enthusiasts from Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and other states have been at General Butler State Resort Park  yesterday and today learning new sewing techniques and improving their skills as they attend the sixth annual “It’s Sew Fine” Sewing Expo hosted by the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service Family and Consumer Sciences program from the Northern Kentucky and Louisville area. 

Carroll County Public Library will present its annual Mary Ann Gentry Memorial Art Show during May. Entries will be accepted from April 15-May 3, from both past and new exhibitors. For information, call the library at (502) 732-7020.
