  • The Kentucky State Fair is underway, and Carroll County 4-H members are letting people know that Carroll County has some mighty fine youth.

     Jackson Marsh competed in the state dog show on Sunday, Aug. 13, and received a red ribbon. This was Jackson’s first time showing Ben (his dog). Jackson did everything perfectly, but Ben did not want to sit. But it was really fun to watch, and Jackson did great.

  • Changes at Worthville Pentecostal Church

    The Worthville United Pentecostal Church is now the Worthville Pentecostal Church. Their service time for Sunday is now 11 a.m. and Wednesday will stay the same at 7 p.m. The phone number has been changed to (502)662-0614.

    CAYR Dinner Aug. 25

    CAYR Dinner will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday Aug. 25. Free food, fun and fellowship. Calvary Full Gospel Church, 39 Maddox St., Prestonville, Ky.

  • The Louden-Mundane Band will be entertaining at their CD release party Friday, Sept. 1, from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Neeley Family Distillery in Sparta,  Ky.

  • Join Three Rivers District Health Department for our ninth annual 5K Run/Walk. The race will be at The Kentucky Speedway on Sept. 30. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and race will start promptly at 9 a.m.
