     CARROLLTON, Ky.—William E. Meadows, 52, of Carrollton, died on Sunday. June 3, 2012, at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.

    Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 7 at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.  until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Turners Station Cemetery in Turners Station, Ky.

    Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Chilton Meadows Peelman of Carrollton.

     CARROLLTON, Ky.—Joel C. Johnson, 71, of Carrollton died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Carrollton.

    Funeral services were held Friday, June 1 at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave., in Carrollton with the Rev. Bimp McAlister officiating. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

    Survivors include his wife, Janice Webster Johnson of Carrollton; sons, Ricky Johnson of Denver, Colo. and Stevie Johnson of Madison, Ind.; one daughter, Tina Johnson of Hanover, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.

    WORTHVILLE, Ky.-Kailynn Nichole Lee Wallace, newborn, died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at the Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange, Ky.

    A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 30 at 11 a.m. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton. Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton is in charge of arrangements.

    Survivors include her parents, Kevin Lee Wallace and Tara Jean Henry; a sister, Jaylah Henry; maternal grandparents, J.W. and Terry Henry; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Wanda Wallace all of Worthville.

    CINCINNATI, Ohio—Emily A. Riley, 80, died Monday, May 28, 2012, in Cincinnati.

    Graveside services will be held at the Dallasburg Masonic Cemetery in Wheatley, Ky. at 2 p.m. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 2 from11 a.m.-noon at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton.

    Her parents, Robert Byron and Emma Thelma Baker Riley preceded her in death.

    BEDFORD, Ky.—Linda Sue Kidwell, 62, of Bedford died, Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Ind.

    Funeral services will be held 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 30 at Ransdell Funeral Home, 441 Hwy. 42 in Bedford with Bro. Johnny McDowell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date.

    Her parents, Frank and Leona Brooks Kidwell preceded her in death.

    MILTON, Ky.—Allen Ernest Detmer, 70, of Milton, died Saturday, May 26, 2012, at his residence.

    Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, at Mt. Byrd Christian, 92 Peck Pike in Milton, with the Rev. Aaron Snelling, officiating. No visitation on the day of the funeral. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 6147 Hwy 36, Milton. Ransdell Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

    She was born April 29, 1975, in Winchester Ky., to Clifford and Bernadine Willoughby.

    Memorial services will be held Wednesday, May 23rd, at the Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, 213 Fifth Street in Carrollton. There will be a time of Fellowship from 2 – 4 p.m. with services beginning at 4 p.m. with Bro Steve Evans officiating.

    Funeral services were held, Tuesday, May 22. at Voss Chapel, 316 N. Chestnut St., in Seymour. Burial was in City Cemetery of Vevay in Vevay, Ind. with full military graveside rites.

    Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23 at 1 p.m. at McDonald & New Funeral Home, Main Street in Owenton at 1 p.m. with Bro. David “Milkweed” Wotier presiding.

    Born November 28, 1956, in Owenton, she was the daughter of the late Garrett L. Giles and preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Wayne Marksberry and her brother, David Lynn Giles.
