  • Cecil Clark, 82

    EMINENCE, Ky.—Cecil Clark, 82, died on Monday, May 21, 2012. 

    Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, May 25, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, in New Castle, Ky. officiated by Bro. Larry Montgomery, associate pastor of Henry Christian Church. Visitation will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 24 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Franklinton Cemetery.

  • Marion Patricia Benecke, 86

    CARROLLTON, Ky.—Marion Patricia Benecke, 86, of Carrollton, died on Monday, May 21, 2012, at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 25, at noon at the St. John Catholic Church in Carrollton with the Rev. Kavungal Davy officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 24, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 24, at the funeral home.

  • Hubert W. Ball, 73

    BEDFORD, Ky.—Hubert W. Ball,  73, of Bedford, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at his residence. 

    Funeral services were held Friday, May 18, at Antioch Baptist Church with Pastor Clint Elliott officiating. Cremation followed the service. Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, was in charge of arrangements.

    Survivors include his wife, Nancy L. Fugate Ball of Bedford; daughter, Tambra Lee Ball Fox of Bedford; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

    His parents,  Bradford Elmo and Mildred Bell Robbins Ball preceded him in death.

  • Sandy Lee Sharp, 37

    CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. – Sandy Lee Sharp, 37, of Campbellsburg died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

    Funeral Services are 1 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton, with the Rev. Steven Scherer officiating. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, and  from 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Ghent Masonic Cemetery in Ghent, Ky.

  • John Phillip Spenneberg, 62

    CARROLLTON, Ky.—John Phillip Spenneberg, 62, of Carrollton, died Monday, May 14, 2012, at his residence.

    Funeral services were held Thursday, May 17 at Open Door Baptist Church in Carrollton. Graham Dunn Funeral Home, 213 Fifth Street in Carrollton assisted the family with the arrangements.

    Mr. Spenneberg was born Aug. 27, 1949, in Carroll County to the late Louis and Polly Spenneberg. He was a factory worker by occupation.

    ERLANGER, Ky. – Larry Edward Hoskins, 56, of Erlanger, died  Monday, May 14, 2012,  at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Ky.

    Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at the First Baptist Church of Elsmere, 1105 Garvey Ave. in Elsmere, Ky. Visitation is 9 a.m. until time of service. The Jones, Simpson and Gee Funeral Home, 1129 Garrard St. in Covington, Ky., is in charge of arrangements.

    MADISON, Ind. – Ruby Ann Couch Day, 67, of Madison died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

    Funeral services are 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, May 16, at Morgan and Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, with Bro. John Davis officiating. Visitation is 9 a.m. Wednesday until the service. Interment will be in the Brooksburg Cemetery in Brooksburg, Ind.

    MILTON, Ky. – John B. Hancock, 90, of Milton, died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Ky.

    Funeral services were Monday, May 14, at Ransdell Funeral Home, 441 Hwy 42 West in Bedford, Ky., with Bro. Danny Gabbard officiating. Interment was in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton.
