  • Wayne D. Woosley, 73

    WORTHVILLE, Ky. Wayne D. Woosley, 73 of Worthville, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Baptist Hospital Northeast.

    Funeral Services will be 2 pm Saturday, July 28 at LaGrange Assembly of God, 2109 W. Hwy 146, in LaGrange, Ky., with interment to follow at the Valley of Rest Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2-8 pm Friday at the church. Oldham County Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

    Mr. Woosley was the retired owner of Woosley Excavating and a member of the LaGrange Assembly of God Church.

    CARROLLTON, Ky.—Linda Lee Hicks, 64, of Carrollton, died Tuesday,  July 17, 2012, at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, Ky.

  • Jean Vinson Cartmell Lemme Masten, 77

    Jean Vinson Cartmell Lemme Masten, 77, formerly of Carrollton, died July 9, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma.  She will be missed by her family and friends and remembered for her kind spirit, love for learning and sharing family history and love of singing.  A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 14 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Warner Robins, Ga.

  • Hilda Mae Brown, 85

    BEDFORD, Ky.—Hilda Mae Brown, 85, of Signature Health Care, Bedford, died Tuesday, July 11, 2012, at Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange, Ky.

    Services were held Friday, July 13,  at English Cemetery with Rev. Mike Huff officiating. Graham-Dunn Funeral Home 213 Fifth St. in  Carrollton, was in charge of arrangements.

    Survivors include two sons, Terry Lee Brown of New Castle and Dana Joe Brown of Bedford; one daughter, Vickie Karen Gaither of Bedford; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

  • Johnie Marie Clinkscales VanHoy, 58

    MITCHELL , Ind.– Johnie Marie Clinkscales VanHoy, 58, formerly of Carrollton, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at her residence.

    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center,  with Brother Greg Isom officiating.    Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Chastain Funeral Home, 705 W. Warren Street was in charge of arrangements.

  • Patsy Ruth Helm, 70

    TURNERS STATION, Ky.—Patsy Ruth Helm, 70, of Turners Station, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Baptist Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

    Funeral Services were held Monday, July 9 at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave in Carrollton. Interment was in the Ghent Masonic Cemetery in Ghent, Ky.

    Survivors include her daughter, Loetta Marlene Mikel of Turners Station; her son, James Lawrence Helm of Bedford, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

  • Gage Charles Wade Fisher, 9 months

    CARROLLTON, Ky.—Gage Charles Wade Fisher, age 9 months, died at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

    Survivors include his parents, Crystal Beach Kelly and Jerry Fisher; a brother, Robert Kelly; and sister, Hailee Kelly all of Carrollton.

    Funeral services were held July 7, 2012 at the Open Door Baptist Church. with Bro. Jerry Ison officiating.  Arrangements were handled by Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, 213 Fifth Street in Carrollton.

  • Charles Edward Walker, 57

    CARROLLTON, Ky. —Charles Edward Walker, 57, of Carrollton died Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.

    Funeral services were held Monday, July 2 at 2 p.m. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Melvin LeCompte officiating. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

    Survivors include his wife, Margaret Brown Walker of Carrollton; his mother, Willie Mae Nealy Tyler of Owensboro, Ky.; his son, Darius Walker of Owensboro, Ky.; and one grandchild.

    CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky.—Mary Geneva Shoots-Smith, 80, of Campbellsburg formerly of North Vernon, Ind., died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at  Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton.

    Funeral Services were held Tuesday, July 3,  at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton, Ky. with the Rev. Jerry Knox officiating.  Burial was in the English Cemetery in Carrollton.

  • Charles Joseph “Joe” Hendricks, 28

    SANDERS,  Ky.—Charles Joseph “Joe” Hendricks, 28, of Sanders, died Tuesday, June 28, 2012, in Florence, Boone County, Ky.

    A Memorial Service was held Tuesday, July 3,  at Sanders Baptist Church in Sanders.  Cremation has been chosen by the family. Tandy-Eckler-Riley, 809 Highland Ave. was in charge of arrangements.

    Survivors include a daughter, Savannah Gayle Marie Hendricks; and his parents, Charles R. and Theresa Marie Corrado Hendricks of Sanders, Ky.
