The Carroll County High School Band will be performing their annual spring concert on Sunday, May 6 at 2 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m., and the concert is free and open to the public.

Adams honored by USAA

Caleb Scot Adams, son of Vernon and Michelle Adams of Carrollton has been recognized by the United States Achievement Academy as a student of excellence in Mathematics. He is in the eighth grade at Carroll County Middle School. He was nominated for the award by his teacher, Michelle Hawkins. He is the grandson of Tresa and Scot Peters of Carrollton and Lawrence and Judy Adams of Worthville, Ky.

McClellen on dean’s list

The Carroll County School District has received a “Top-10 Ranking in the 2011 Digital School Districts Survey.”

The Carroll County School District has spent several years integrating technology into the classroom and the workplace, and one national organization has taken note – ranking it fifth in the nation among districts of its size.
