Jessica Ann Glauber, Jenna Michelle Goff, Devon Renee Hill. Jenna Rae McNeal, Priya Rajanikant Patel, Jessica Lynn Wilkerson and Daniel Curtis Woods all of Carroll County were named to the University of Kentucky Dean’s List for the Spring 2011 semester.

To make a Dean’s List in one of the UK colleges, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.6 or higher and must have earned 12 credits or more in that semester, excluding credits earned in pass-fail classes.  Some UK colleges require a 3.5 GPA to make the Dean’s List.

Cassaundra Louise Ogden of Sanders is one of 294 to receive Eastern Kentucky University’s dean’s award for the spring 2011 semester. Ogden is a senior seeking a degree in elementary education teaching.

To earn the dean’s award, students must achieve dean’s list honors for three semesters. She will receive a lapel pin presented by the dean of her academic college for the achievement

Hilary Carlisle of Carrollton recently received a clinical white coat from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. The coat, presented to students at the end of their junior year, marks the transition from veterinary sciences into senior clinical rotations where students help administer patient care.

Carlisle earned an animal sciences degree in 2007 from the University of Kentucky and is a 2004 graduate of Carroll County High School. She is the daughter of Doug and Susan Carlisle of Carrollton.
