Franklin inducted

Hayley Franklin was inducted in April into the Lambda Pi Eta National Honor Society at Northern Kentucky University. To be eligible, a student must be a junior or senior with a 3.5 or higher grade average, and be nominated by an NKU  professor or staff member.

She is the daughter of Ben and Crystal Franklin of Carrollton, Ky. She will be a senior at NKU in the fall, majoring in communications and minoring in public relations.

Meder wins contest

Current and future student achievement topped the agenda for the Carroll County Board of Education meeting held in the alternative learning center on the campus of the Carroll County High School.
