Repairs to the Kentucky River Bridge will begin Monday, Oct. 17, and are scheduled to be complete Nov. 15.
The bridge will be reduced to one lane and a temporary signal will be placed on each end of the bridge. Motorists are asked to exercise caution and watch for traffic control devices, flaggers, construction personnel and equipment entering and leaving the work zone, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet stated in a news release.
The contract was awarded to Judy C. Harp Company, Inc. of Frankfort, Ky. The awarded bid was for $197,363.
