A Carroll County Sheriff’s Office deputy was attacked by two dogs while responding to a report of a suicidal teenager.
Deputy J.T. Shaw and Sheriff Jamie Kinman were dispatched to the 2300 block of U.S. Hwy. 42 at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 for a report of a male running into the roadway to try to commit suicide.
Shaw located the boy first while Kinman was circling toward him in another part of the wooded area. Two dogs were with the boy, and they immediately approached Shaw. The dogs nipped him in the legs several times, Shaw said.
