Ghent man arrested for allegedly stealing gun
A man who alledgedly stole a handgun from a Ghent residence was arrested by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday, Sept. 17.
According to a news release from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Phillip Snyder, 30, of Ghent, broke down a door of the residence of Sharon Bemis. He went inside the home and allegedly stole a .357 Revolver Ruger. The burglary occurred at 709 Main Street, Ghent.
