After discussing the issue for multiple meetings, Carrollton City Council decided Monday where to spend most of its allotted $90,000 for road paving in 2011-12. “We trimmed down in places we needed to to get the money down,” Mayor Gene McMurry said.
The following streets will be paved at a cost of $83,177 by Ohio Valley Asphalt:
• End of Hawkins at 11th Street – widen for truck turn - $2,840
• Fourth Street between Highland Avenue and Sycamore Street - $0
• Clay Street between 10th and 11th streets - $7,292
