Carroll County Judge-Executive Harold “Shorty” Tomlinson reports that he has received notification that the county has been awarded two grants which will be used to improve communications and purchase mobile data computers for local law enforcement. A third application was not funded.

After months of discussion and debate, council recommended Monday night that P&Z address the wording of the ordinance to clearly define that a garage must share a common wall, and detached garages are not allowed.
