    This menu is for Cartmell Elementary, there is a change for Carroll County Middle School’s menu, this week, the change is underlined and in parenthesis for Dec. 16.

     

    Thursday, Dec. 12: Taco with tortilla, (or chicken fajita), lettuce, tomato, cheese, salsa, refried beans, orange and applesauce; breakfast: Sausage biscuit and gravy.

    Friday, Dec. 13: Hamburger/cheeseburger, bun, lettuce, tomato, pickle and French Fries, apple and diced pears; breakfast: Donuts.

  • Sharon, DFW case ends in settlement agreement

    A settlement has been reached by Trimble County Deputy Sheriff Dennis Sharon and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources regarding Sharon’s Sept. 28, 2012, termination of employment as a conservation officer with the department.

  • Students at technology center sponsor drive for pet supplies

    The Carroll County Area Technology Center’s Health Occupation Students of America organization is sponsoring a “pet drive” to collect needed items for the local shelters and Carroll County Animal Support.

    HOSA will distribute these items during a Christmas Gift Giving Party to be held at each shelter.

    “It seems these animals get left out at this time of year and need our help,” adviser Tonya Lindsay, said.
