  • No suspects after dog shot in city

A Carrollton family is hoping for answers in the shooting of one of their dogs.

Margaret Walker of 618 Winslow St. said that, occasionally, her three dogs will escape from the back yard “to see the city.”

That’s what happened Friday, Feb. 3, but this time when her husband, Charles, went to round up the dogs, he found one of them – Moka – lying on the neighbor’s driveway, unable to move.

Charles Walker lifted the 45-pound Welsh corgi-mix and took her immediately to their veterinarian, Dr. Mary A. Zink in Bedford.
