Carroll donates water, supplies to Johnson County flood relief efforts

Carroll County residents lent a helping hand to flood-ravaged Johnson County, sending truckloads of supplies last week, with another trip planned Thursday morning.

At least four people were killed, and emergency workers estimated that 500 Johnson County homes were damaged or destroyed, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.

Flooding occurred after six inches of rain fell on Johnson County Monday, July 13, more than anywhere else in Kentucky, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.
