iLead Academy will ready students for jobs

Beginning in August, a select number of students from Carroll, Gallatin, Henry, Owen and Trimble counties will attend a new career academy that emphasizes instruction in science, technology, engineering and math. The school districts will select five to six incoming freshmen to attend the new iLead Academy, the state’s first regional career academy. A second group will be added the following year, bringing total attendance to 60 students.
