Ernest Jefferson Turner CARROLLTON, Ky. – Ernest Jefferson Turner, 64, of Carrollton died Tuesday, April 29, at his home. Cremation was chosen; there will be no funeral services. Mr. Turner was born Sept. 7, 1943, in Harlan County, Ky., to the late Thomas Jefferson Turner and Pearl Brown Bickers. He attended school in Owen County, Ky., and earned his GED. He was retired from General Butler State Resort Park, where he worked for 15 years. Survivors include four daughters, Billie K. Parish of Frankfort, Ky., Lesia Soliman and Tina Moore, both of Owenton, Ky., and Krystal Cason of Elsburg, Ky.; a son, Beau Turner of Carrollton; three sisters, Etta Sullivan, Ethel Craig and Belle Carter, all of Carrollton; and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dwayne Turner. Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, 213 Fifth St., Carrollton, was in charge of arrangements.
