Cecil Johnson Jr.

CARROLLTON, Ky. – Cecil Johnson Jr., 83, of Carrollton died Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Gallatin Health Care Center in Warsaw, Ky.

Services were Tuesday, April 1, at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, 213 Fifth St., Carrollton. Burial was in the Carrollton I.O.O.F Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was born Nov. 17, 1924, to the late Cecil Sr. and Gladys Moscoe Johnson.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II.

He worked as a welder for the former Williamson Company in Madison, Ind.

Survivors include his wife, Etheline Aubrey Johnson of Carrollton; three sons, Bobby Johnson and Mark Johnson of Carrollton and Ron Johnson of Warsaw; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Brian Johnson, Patrick Johnson, Chris Johnson, Greg Mitchell, Michael Alexander, Billy Hardesty and Rob Johnson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gallatin Health Care Center, Center Avenue, Warsaw, KY 41095 or to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504.
