Carroll County Parks and Recreation 2013 youth baseball and softball registration will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday from Feb. 11-March 1 at the parks and recreation office on the third floor of the downtown county courthouse.
Registration forms also may be mailed before deadline with payment to: Carroll County Parks and Recreation, 440 Main Street, Carrollton, KY 41008
The following is a list of teams and fees:
Blastball- Boys and Girls ages 3 & 4 (on April 30th, 2013) $15
Students in kindergarten through fourth grade will now have the opportunity to participate with the Carroll County High School track and field teams. Fifth-graders are already competing with the Carroll County Middle School team.
The Christian Academy of Carrollton Eagles battled the visiting Academy for Individual Excellence Cougars Friday night. The teams played three games - middle schools boys, JV girls and JV boys.
The Carroll County Yellow Jackets and Mighty Mites recently won the Oldham County Youth Football League Championships. To celebrate, the two teams took a ride through town on the Carrollton Fire Department fire engines and had more fun at Westrick Park.

Carroll County softball standouts Kelsey Ogden and Sarah Hawkins are members of the prestigious Kentucky S.W.A.T.T. 16 and Under College Showcase softball team. The team also includes Trimble County High School’s Kayla Baker.
Ogden is the daughter of Jackie and Mary Ogden of Sanders. Hawkins is the daughter of Dennis and Jo Ellen Hawkins of Carrollton. Baker is the daughter of Kevin and Rhonda Bradley of Bedford.
