The Carroll County Middle School Panthers’ football team ran away with their first victory of the season under the Friday night lights, winning
44-0 over Bracken County in the team’s fourth annual Bowlarama event.
The annual fundraiser for the football program hosts games on both Friday and Saturday at Panther Field.
The Cincinnati Reds in honor of Dummy Hoy will be presenting a “Give Back Game,” sponsored by Cincinnati Bell, Monday, Aug. 29 at 7:10 p.m., at the Great American Ball Park, 100 Joe Nuxhall Way, in Cincinnati.

Soccer registration
Carroll County Parks and Rec co-ed youth soccer league registration will be held July 18-29 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Parks and Rec office.
The league is for children ages 2-11 (as of July 31). Older children may be required to travel. The cost is $25 for an individual, $15 each for additional siblings, and $15 for those under the age of 6.
