  • Moving on: Lady Panthers edge out Lady Wildcats to advance

    The Carroll County Lady Panthers reached deep and found a way to pull out a hard fought 3-2 victory over Henry County in the 31st District Tournament Oct. 20.

    In the final set of the match, Carroll County started out hot, scoring the first three points. Henry County scored their first point of the set when they were able to put away a kill off a Carroll County block. The Lady Wildcats then reeled off five more points, forcing Carroll County head coach Lynn Eaglin to call a timeout to settle down her troops.

  • Panthers win fourth straight 31st District title

    The Carroll County High School boys soccer team continues to make history, as the Panthers defeated Owen County, 2-0, Oct. 15, to win its fourth straight 31st District Championship. Carroll County took on Grant County in the first round of the 8th Region Tournament Oct. 19, at Owen County High School.

  • 2015 Powder Puff Football

    The senior class was crowned 2015 Powder Puff champions as they defeated the junior class 28-22 as senior Miranda Groseclose scored the game-winning touchdown as time expired. The juniors shut out the freshman class, 22-0, to advance, and the seniors defeated the sophomores, 20-14.

  • Panthers win 2-1 on senior day

    Tied 0-0 at halftime, the Carroll County boys soccer team scored two goals in the second half to defeat visiting Bullitt Central, 2-1, Saturday, Oct. 10.

    “I thought the first half was a much better first half with them switching the field and looking to play both sides of the field,” head coach Ben Crutcher said. “I thought we could have played better in the second half. We, obviously, capitalized on some opportunities given to us in the second half to win, 2-1.”

  • Panthers mercy Wildcats to advance to district title

    Carroll County High School junior David Marshall broke two school records in the Panthers’ 10-0 31st District Tournament win over Henry County Tuesday, Oct. 13. He broke Michael Hall’s records for most goals scored in a career and most goals scored in a season. He is now up to 74 career goals and 38 goals this season, with at least two games left this season.

  • Lady Raiders overcome its injuries to beat Lady Panthers

    The Trimble County Lady Raiders swept the Carroll County Lady Panthers in this year’s border battle, winning in Carrollton 2-0 (25-21, 25-15) Oct. 6.

  • NCKC | Oct. 8, 2015

    The high school golf NCKC Tournament was held Sept. 22, at Cardinal Hills in Trimble County.  Three golfers from Carroll County were named to the All-Tournament team: Justin Ray, Caleb Stephenson and Ciara Hamilton.
