Carroll County Panthers basketball lost their season opener Tuesday at Lloyd Memorial, 71-61. Up by two at the end of the first quarter, Lloyd Memorial outscored Carroll County 23-16 in the second quarter.
Isaiah Hogan led all scorers with 21 points. Taylor Schirmer scored 14 points, followed by Jackson “Boo” Donahue, 10 points; Austin Crank, seven points; Evan McMahan, six points; and Jacob Evans, three points. McMahan led the Panthers in assists with four, while Hogan, Evans and Schirmer all grabbed a team-leading five rebounds.
